Andre Recke’s dynamic career has featured success in management, concert & tour promotions, music production, music licensing & merchandising, music distribution, TV & movie licensing, and video production. Andre is most notably recognized for his management of multi-platinum artist Hilary Duff (2002-09) who has sold more than 18 Mio records worldwide.

Andre’s career began in 1988 in Germany from where he began as a Concert & Tour Promoter throughout Europe. In 1991, he managed his first client, classical producer Michael Horwath who produced works by Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, and Pavarotti, among others.

It was shortly after that when Andre founded INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS MERCHANDISING (I.A.M.), and signed TV and movie licenses in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for the shows “Married with Children,” “Star Trek,” “Superman,” “Melrose Place,” and “Flintstones – The Movie.”

In 1996 Andre signed exclusive merchandising rights in Europe for the Backstreet Boys, N’SYNC, Aaron Carter, No Authority, Take 5, LFO, Aqua, and many others. Then through Anthill Trading, he signed exclusive distribution deals for Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Garbage, and David Bowie. He negotiated sponsoring deals for the Backstreet Boys with T-Mobil (Telecommunication), BMW, Pepsi Cola, and Hugo Boss. He also negotiated the pay-per-view live broadcast concert for the Backstreet Boys on Premiere TV. During the same year, Andre was the Executive Producer for the Backstreet Boys Home Video Documentary, distributed through Columbia Tristar Home Video, and he was Executive Producer for the Aaron Carter Home Video Documentary, distributed through BMG Home Video.

The following year, Andre founded the record label COCKROACH RECORDS LLC, and signed the artists Tito & Tarantula, who released three albums, all of which were in the Top 100 charts in Germany. The same year, in 1997, Andre founded BOO MANAGEMENT & CONSULTING, INC.

Andre and Boo Management & Consulting, Inc. represent clients such as Nikka Costa, Jessica Sutta (Pussycat Dolls), Ross Lynch, R5, Hudson Thames and Hayley Kiyoko.

From June 09 till Oct 10 Andre was SVP of A&R Continental Europe for EMI Music working with Billy Mann to restructure and rebuilt the artist roster.
